Keep your diagrams and your code in sync. Add links to Whimsical boards in your pull requests, issues, or comments, and a backlink will automatically be added to that Whimsical file.

Backlinks show you the GitHub context, including text excerpts and code diffs, right alongside your boards.

Get set up

1. Go to the integrations page in your Whimsical settings
2. Click Install under the GitHub app
3. In GitHub, select which repos or organizations you'd like to connect
4. Authorize the intagration and you're done. Backlinks will start appearing automatically.

Note: GitHub integration requires a paid Whimsical plan.
