Whimsical supports syntax highlighting for code blocks in docs, boards, comments, and discussions.

On boards, code blocks work in text objects, tables, shapes, and sticky notes. There's also a standalone code object for pure code.

Code blocks auto-detect the language by default, so highlighting just works when you paste in code. You can always switch the language manually.

Click anywhere in a code block to show the dropdown and switch language, or use Cmd + Shift + K (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + K (PC) to open the dropdown via a shortcut.
