How to copy from Lucidspark to WhimsicalCopied!Link to this section

1. Open your Lucidspark board and select what you want to bring over.
2. Copy it with Cmd + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (PC).
3. Open a Whimsical board and paste with Cmd + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (PC).

Everything arrives as a single step, so one undo removes the whole paste.

• Shapes, including rectangles, ellipses, diamonds, triangles, clouds, stars, hexagons and cylinders

• Action buttons like timers and laser pointers are skipped.
• Sticky note authors and filled-in template fields stay behind. Tags, votes, reactions and comments don't paste either.
• Colors are matched, not copied exactly. Lucidspark's sticky colors map to the nearest Whimsical sticky color, so similar shades may end up the same color. You can update your color theme to match your brand.
• Fonts, text color and line thickness aren't carried over. Text is shown in our Dinsical font.
• Curved connectors come across as straight connectors that follow the same path.
• Long drawings are simplified.

• Copy one frame or activity at a time so it's easy to check the result.
• Paste into a fresh Whimsical board first while you get a feel for it.
• If you see Couldn't paste selection, try copying fewer objects at a time.
