1. Open your whiteboard in Microsoft Whiteboard and select what you want to bring over.
2. Copy it with Cmd + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (PC).
3. Open a Whimsical board and paste with Cmd + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (PC).

• Lists. Grid lists become a section of sticky notes, and other lists become text with their title, bullets or checkboxes.
• Pen drawings, in their colors

• Tables and frames don't come across.
• Connector labels stay behind. Curved connectors become elbow connectors.
• Some shapes. Shapes without a Whimsical match, such as block arrows, keep their text and color but become rectangles. Octagons and pentagons become hexagons.
• Colors are matched, not copied exactly. You can update your color theme to match your brand.
• Fonts aren't carried over. Text is shown in our Dinsical font, at the nearest Whimsical text size. Underlines aren't kept.
• Shapes snap to the nearest right angle. Text, sticky notes, images and links paste upright.
• Images over 10 MB don't come across. They paste as an empty image placeholder.

• Copy one part of your whiteboard at a time so it's easy to check the result as you go.
• Paste into a fresh Whimsical board first while you get a feel for it.
• If you see Couldn't paste selection, try copying fewer objects at a time.

No. Copy objects on your whiteboard and paste them into a Whimsical board. There's nothing to install or export.

Mostly. Sticky notes, shapes, text and grid lists come across, and grid lists become sections of sticky notes. Any tables or frames in the template stay behind.
