Customizing file and folder icons
Clearly label your boards and folders, or add a bit of personality with custom icon and color choices for each of them.
To add an icon to a Whimsical file or folder:
- Open the board or folder you want to customize
- Click the default icon next to the name of the board or folder
- An icon picker menu will pop up
- Choose an icon from the icon picker and customize its color if desired
Your new icon and color will be applied immediately in all references within Whimsical and embedded content, as well as in your browser for files you've opened or added to bookmarks.
Only icons from our icon library can be added to files and folders, emojis aren’t supported for that at the moment.
